Should I read Enoch?
If you have an interest in studying Christianity I would recommend reading the book of Enoch.
Should I read Enoch is a question that comes up often so I wanted to briefly discuss it.
I was introduced to this book several years ago and I am glad I read it.
It’s made it clearer for me to understand other books in the Bible.
Although Enoch is not in the Bible some think it should be.
Enoch is one of the most intriguing characters in the Bible.
He is a man who stands out for his righteousness and faithfulness to God.
The book of Enoch is a book that was not included in either the Jewish or Christian biblical canons.
In this book, Enoch tells about his deeply personal relationship with God and how he walked with God for 300 years before being taken up into Heaven.
Facts about Enoch from the Bible
Enoch is the seventh generation from Adam and Eve.
He was the son of Jared and had other sons and daughters.
His name means “initiated” or “dedicated.”
Enoch showed his dedication by walking with God, teaching men about God’s word, preaching repentance to the people of the earth, building a city where he ministered, and prophesying about coming judgment.
He was taken to heaven without dying.

Enoch is the most important writing in the entire bible, it’s a visionary book and if you don’t have a lot of knowledge about it, you should read this chapter.
He was considered an important prophet because he had visions that were shared with other people.
He also wrote with his visions so people could understand them more easily.
The importance of Enoch’s teachings is because they show us what we should do to avoid the coming judgment which will happen at the end of time.
The first thing that Enoch tells us to do is to abstain from sinning and doing sinful things such as sexual immorality, stealing, and committing all types of violence.
Enoch’s Influence on the Bible and Christian Beliefs
Enoch is mentioned in the Bible as “the seventh from Adam”; to this day we do not know which parts of Genesis were written by Enoch.
Enoch’s influence on Christianity is mixed.
Some Christians think that Enoch wrote about events and prophecies that are also mentioned in the Bible, but others think that his writings were lost over time and they don’t have any relevance for Christianity.
In general, it can be said that without knowing for sure which parts of Genesis were written by Enoch, it is difficult to know his true influence on Christian beliefs
Should Christians Read the Book of Enoch?
The Book of Enoch has been out of print for centuries, but it is now being translated into English.
Some Christians are reading the book to understand the origins of their faith.
We should not be discouraged from reading the book because it is a piece of history.
We also need to remember that there are other books which have contributed to our understanding on certain topics and we should not disregard them in favor of this one book.

Should i read enoch?
In short, yes.
Enoch in my opinion should be in the Bible.
